  • nontraditional performance

PROBE is a 50 by 40-foot earth sculpture is in the form of a human fingerprint dug into the ground. Contributing artists participated in the alteration of the grounds and made work in conversation with the installation. An improvised dance wove through the pathways of the sculpture, and guests were invited to meander the paths as part of the landscape. The installation addresses themes of environmental desecration, and the inevitable effects of our everyday acts on the environment.
